Let’s face it, there’s a lot going on right now. Who couldn’t use a little less mind clutter? A great way to clear some head-space, cultivate creativity and change the way you face the day is through journaling. No, we’re not talking “Dear Diary, today I…” We’re talking purging your thoughts on paper in order to plan, prepare and ultimately progress toward your goals.
Reset your mindset each morning with our Daily Countdown prompt, which helps you find balance by taking a holistic approach to your day. Print out this one-page journaling prompt or easily copy it into your own notebook as you go.
I have talked about the book, “The Miracle Morning” by Hal Elrod. One of his recommendations is to journal during the first part of each day. Since I have read that book I have journaled every single day. I started in December of 2014. It is a great strategy to help with an individual’s personal mental health and for those that suffer from anxiety it is an excellent way of getting the day started in a more positive way. I would recommend that you truly put pen to paper in doing your journal. The power of writing it out is definitely part of the self therapy.
