Here is the Google definition of Mindfulness:

mind·ful·ness /ˈmīn(d)f(ə)lnəs/

The quality or state of being conscious or aware of something.
A mental state achieved by focusing one’s awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one’s feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations, used as a therapeutic technique.

In 2014 when I started this journey I was very much aware of how the mind influences what happens to us on a daily basis.  I had played golf since I was 15 years old and I knew that how I thought about a shot before I took it had a big influence on what happened when I hit the golf ball.

At the time I thought this was a form of visualization and I knew that the best players in the world, in particular, Jack Nicklaus, used it before every shot.

Several years later I saw the movie, “The Secret,” and I became very aware of the Law of Attraction and what I called visualization and mindfulness really fell into a bringing the Law of Attraction into force.  Having read that book after I had already implemented the “Miracle Morning” by Hal Elrod the pieces started to come together and I was elated at the results of this type of thinking and behavior.

Dr. Joe Vitale states in the book, “The Secret,” … “You want to become aware of your thoughts and choose your thoughts carefully and you want to have fun with this, because you are the masterpiece of your own life.  You are the Michelangelo of your own life. The David you are sculpting is you.”

Become aware of your thoughts and consider meditation and its great value in life.  I do it every day.
